It’s almost October and that means: pretty trees, cozy sweaters, coffee and… Yes, what else? New books!
Harry Potter and the Philospher Stone Illustrated edition
I’m not even going to try to explain why I want to read this book and why you should buy it. I mean, Harry Potter. Enough said.
Carry on – Rainbow Rowell
I read Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell and wasn’t very enthusiastic. However, I’m really curious about this one. I like Rainbow Rowell’s writestyle and am willing to give this book a try. A ghost love story sounds interesting to me.
Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, The Sword of Summer – Rick Riordan
- It’s written by Rick Riordan
- Norse mythology
- The main character is called Magnus
Magnus lives on the streets in Boston, but then his uncle finds him and tells him that he’s the son of a Norse God. Sounds pretty good if you ask me.
Sword Art Online Progressive, Volume 3 – Reki Kawahara
Volume 3, can you believe it? The first two volumes were great and I can’t wait to pick this one up. Sword Art Online follows the story of Kirito who gets stuck in a game with many others. If you die in the game, you’ll die in real life.
I can’t wait to read these four amazing books, but there’s more! Tyler Oakly’s book called Binge will be released this month, a beautiful full-colour art book with sketches, drawings and maps from The Lord of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien and a new Brandon Sanderson book.
What will you be reading this October?
